Past Activities
SWACC started as a networking platform between persons, organisations and enterprises for exchange between Sweden and the West African countries. The first President of SWACC was Johan Stenberg, honorary consul of Niger in Sweden. He was later succeeded by Lars-Göran Andersson, honorary consul of Côte d’Ivoire in Sweden. For some years and for various reasons, SWACC’s activities were paused. Yet in 2023 a new board has kick-started SWACC’s agenda again. The President is Sten Hagberg, honorary consul of Burkina Faso in Sweden.
